At firstglance, they look astonishingly, even disappointingly, like those objects that lie carelessly around on our own desk. But wouldnt each of us immediately recognise our own eraser amongst all these colourless lumps and worn out remnants? In deepest respect for the work of others and in awe of the mystery of artistic creation, these small sculptures have been
